Battle

Pronounced: Ba-tol
Female: Female | Male: Male | Baby: Pup

Battle are curious little bugs...as in theyre not bugs at all! Despite their similarities to one at first glance, these little mammals only have the chitinous shell that some insects have, and look rather similar to bats!

Males and females are sexually dimorphic, but only in the sense of the males having webbed hooks on their limbs. Otherwise, they are identical color wise.

The origin of Battle is shrouded in mystery, as they are found everywhere. They've been brought to lands far and wide, carried in the pockets of children. Battle, being extremely popular as pets, are beloved by children. They are easy to catch, and many get quickly attached to their charming little friends.

Battle are very common to keep as pets in densely populated cities, due to needing very little maintenance, and sparingly eat. They love small, dark spaces, and in the past, they have even been kept in matchboxes by kits and draklings.

Their diets mainly consist of smaller insects, nectar, fish (in some variants) and rarely, meat.
They also appreciate being given fresh fruit from time to time as well!
