Gulocajou is a muscular omnivore and a mostly solitary animal. The front half of the body is slightly more stocky than the rear, but this does not hinder the movement of this animal. They are capable of immediately bolting towards a target and pinning it down with their powerful claws. They are incredibly fast in short distance pursuits, which makes them prefer to ambush their prey.

They inhabit the snowy areas of the North and are well adapted to living in tough conditions. Despite being omnivores, they only occasionally live on roots and berries. They strongly prefer meats to plants and thus the main elements of their diet consists of Ikkas, birds, and small rodents. Not being fussy eaters, it can be said that anything can become their potential meal.

Despite their small size, they are extremely brave animals. Not particularly aggressive, they are known to be curious and not willing to back down when challenged. They are known for their stubbornness and having the guts to even stand their ground while encountering a Mountain Pieshu.
